Filmmaking Workshops
Enjoy a 2-day workshop and learn new filmmaking skills. As part of the Ashburton Digital Storytelling Project, you will receive free training and have the opportunity to capture, edit and document the life stories of some of our senior residents. These short films will provide a very special body of work, to be screened at the 2022 Ashburton Film Festival.
Group A: Fri 22 Jul & Fri 26 Aug
Group B: Sat 23 Jul & Sat 27 Aug
There is no charge to participate in these filmmaking workshops. However, by taking part, you must agree to participate in the broader 'Ashburton Digital Filmmaking Project'. This involves producing a short film of the senior member you are partnered with, under the direction of the Craig Family Centre.
This is a community project funded by the City of Boroondara. To learn more about this project and to register your interest, please click here.
