Mutual Understanding, Support, Tolerance, Engagement and Respect (MUSTER Program)

Our aim is to ensure all children and their families have access to advice, guidance and support activities to meet health, development, wellbeing and social opportunities both within the centre and the community.

Our focus is on providing support for all children with additional needs, such as social, emotional and developmental needs. We can:

• Provide health and social developmental group activities such as Sports, Mindfulness, Parenting workshops, Garden to Kitchen programs.
• Apply for funding for additional class aids, work together with aids, parents and teachers to meet agreed parent and education goals.
• Make referrals and work together with Access Health and Community Health professionals – Psychologists, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists.
• Work 1-1 with other Health Professionals that parents have organised to come into Occasional Care, 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten classroom.
• Provide advice and guidance to parents and carers on NDIS and Early Intervention Services and make referrals.

Other Services

• We provide advice and support for parents transitioning into work and education. This may include assistance with child care funding applications and advice on education and employment pathways.
• We are available to provide and assist with extra learning opportunities that encourage parents, grandparents and carers to get involved in children's educational and extracurricular activities.
