Our focus is on providing support for all children with additional needs, such as social, emotional and developmental needs. We can:
- Provide health and social developmental group activities such as Sports, Mindfulness, Parenting workshops, Garden to Kitchen programs.
- Apply for funding for additional class aids, work together with aids, parents and teachers to meet agreed parent and education goals.
- Make referrals and work together with Access Health and Community Health professionals – Psychologists, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists.
- Work 1-1 with other Health Professionals that parents have organised to come into Occasional Care, 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten classroom.
- Provide advice and guidance to parents and carers on NDIS and Early Intervention Services and make referrals.
Other Services
- We provide advice and support for parents transitioning into work and education. This may include assistance with child care funding applications and advice on education and employment pathways.
- We are available to provide and assist with extra learning opportunities that encourage parents, grandparents and carers to get involved in children's educational and extracurricular activities.
