Love Me A Reptile
Our incursions are an interactive learning experience for children of all age groups.
We find that most children are naturally drawn to animals, and we can harness this interest to encourage all pupils to engage with the animal handler, describe their experiences and ask questions.
Our presenters have extensive experience working with both children and animals, and excel in creating a learning environment where even the most shy children feel like they too, can have a go.
As children head into primary schooling, they can continue to grow on their interest in living things, and the role wildlife has to play in the world around us. We believe that learning to be kind to animals and care for the environment around us is a valuable attribute for anyone to carry with them through to adulthood.
Our presentations encourage children to learn with all of their senses, describing what they see, feel and hear when interacting with different animals.
Reptile themed activity sheets and wildlife safety posters are free upon request when booking with Love Me Like a Reptile.
Session 1 – Wed 15th Jan 2pm – 3pm
